Beran Environmental Services has been providing civil engineering and environmental consulting services for over 15 years to the oil and gas industry. With our design/build capabilities we have been engaged in the oil and gas industry within Ohio and Pennsylvania and have acted as a primary consultant for private industries following the discovery of Marcellus and Utica natural gas. In addition, Beran Environmental Services has earned the trust and respect of federal and state regulatory agencies, while maintaining quality services in a manner that is cost-effective to our clients.
Over the years we have advised our clients in the successful attainment of numerous permits. We have attained ESCGP-1, ESCGP-2, and ESCGP-3 permits (both well pad and pipeline), General Permits, NPDES, Joint Permits (Joint Application for Pennsylvania Water Obstruction and Environmental Permit and United States Army Corps of Engineers Section 404 Permits), prepared Erosion and Sediment Control Plans in Pennsylvania and Ohio, and prepared Nationwide Permits.
In addition to the design work necessary to attain these permits, we provide infiltration testing for storm water planning. Infiltration testing measures the rate at which soil is able to absorb rainfall during and after a storm event. Infiltration testing is an essential part of Pennsylvania's Stormwater Best Management Practices and a requirement under PA CODE Chapter 102 Erosion and Sediment Control.
Beran Environmental Services has completed numerous successful wetland mitigation projects and completed these projects in their entirety, from conceptual design through construction, to ultimately the monitoring of successful projects. An inventory of specialized heavy machinery allows us to do our own construction work.
